There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our 2025 highlights.
A year at our school
NAIDOC Day -
Students participated in NAIDOC Day activities at school, celebrating and recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and achievements.
Athletics Carnival -
The whole school attended the Athletics Carnival, where students participated in a wide range of competitive and fun events. The day encouraged school spirit, teamwork and participation, with opportunities for both serious competitors and those joining in for enjoyment.
Harmony Day -
The whole school participates in the annual Harmony Day activities, celebrating cultural diversity and promoting inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Showcase -
Showcase is a major event of the Lakeside Learning Community. It runs over two evenings involving students from Irrawang High, Wirreanda, Medowie, Grahamstown and Irrawang Public Schools.
ANZAC Day -
Each year, our students participate in the school ANZAC Day commemorative event at school, demonstrating respect and remembrance for those who have served.
In addition to the school service, students proudly represent Irrawang High School at the community ANZAC Day services in both Medowie for the Dawn Service and Raymond Terrace for the 11am Service.
“Irrawang High is a school that fosters positive learning. The staff and Year Advisors guide and support students in their academic and social journeys. The CAPA opportunities are excellent, with dedicated staff who encourage students to perfect their craft.”
