School Carnivals

Our Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country Carnivals are held in Term 1 each year. Students who achieve qualifying times and/ or ranks at these carnivals are invited to represent Irrawang High School at the respective Port Stephens Zone Carnivals. From Zone Carnivals, students may qualify to compete as a member of the Port Stephens Zone Team at Regional Carnivals.

Sports Competitions

There are opportunities to represent Irrawang High School at interschool competitions. As a NSW public school, we benefit from the opportunities for shared activities and competitions with other schools, co-ordinated by school sport associations. Students can nominate to trial for School, Zone and Regional sporting teams. Announcements are made throughout the year of upcoming trials and competitions.

Please refer to the DET Sport Unit website for further information.
