Canteen (Cafe Irrawang)

Cafe Irrawang is an accredited "Healthy School Canteen". Our school canteen offers healthy, affordable food options for students and staff. The Canteen is open from 8.15am for breakfast, and also recess and lunch. The canteen is staffed by professional chef Tanya along with her assistant Catherine. Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.

Flexischools is coming to Irrawang High School

From Week 3 Term 2, our school is excited to introduce a new system for purchasing at the school canteen, aka Café Irrawang. The majority of our families will already be familiar with Flexischools as it (or similar) is used in most primary schools.

This system will allow students and families to place orders online for recess and lunch, helping to streamline the ordering process and reduce wait times during busy periods.

Online orders will be cut off at 8am.

As part of this change, we will also be making some adjustments to the canteen setup. The front counter will be divided into two clearly designated areas:

• One side will be dedicated to Flexischools order pickups

• The other side will continue to operate as our current “grab and go” model, offering ready-made food options.

We encourage students and/ or their families to download the Flexischool app and be ready to go next term.

We understand this is an adjustment to the way things have been done previously and we appreciate your understanding and patience while we all settle in to this new system.
