Our Principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to our vibrant school community. At Irrawang High School, we are deeply committed to nurturing and fostering the personal growth of every student, empowering them to achieve their personal best in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Our entire school community—students, staff, and families—works collaboratively within a Positive Behaviour for Learning framework, ensuring each student is known, valued, and cared for. This commitment forms the foundation of an environment where all can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Teaching at Irrawang High School is focused, explicit, and evidence-based through the AERO program, which is integrated into our classrooms to ensure clarity, mastery, and progress in every subject area. We also provide enriched opportunities for High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) students, with diverse in-class and extracurricular programs spanning academic, creative, social, and sporting domains.

Thank you for visiting our website, I invite you to explore Irrawang High School and join us on this exciting journey of learning and growth.
