Inspire – High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE)
Irrawang High School’s High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) program is designed to extend students who show advanced ability across intellectual, creative, social-emotional and physical areas. We provide meaningful learning experiences that challenge students while supporting their overall development.
Some students learn faster and more easily than others. At Irrawang High School, we actively identify and support students with high potential and giftedness across creative, intellectual, physical, and social-emotional domains. We uphold a strong commitment to both excellence and equity, ensuring every student—particularly those with advanced abilities—has access to inclusive and appropriately challenging learning opportunities within the classroom and through targeted programs.
Our skilled teachers draw on evidence-based practices to personalise learning, offering enrichment, extension, and acceleration where appropriate. Through a diverse range of programs and strategies, we encourage students to think deeply, work collaboratively, and develop the confidence to lead.
