Year 10 students led by the Beacon Student Ambassadors, Jack Jones, Samantha Thompson, Payten Dickson and Tim McLaughlin pledged the following today in front of special guests, the local business community and family.
"I willingly commit to achieving personal success through the Beacon program. I will pursue a positive pathway in further education, training or employment".
Beacon,
a not for profit national organisation is currently working in 140 secondary schools across all Australian states and territories and believes every young person can develop an independant will to achieve personal success for themselves and their community.
