Religious Education at Irrawang High School
A feature of the public education system in NSW is the opportunity to provide education in ethics, faith and morality from a religious or non-religious perspective at the choice of parents.
At Irrawang High School SRE is delivered by Raymond Terrace Christian Education SRE board. SRE takes place in Years 7 and 8 for 1 period a fortnight within the timetable.
Information on the curriculum followed by the group can be found at the following link https://nswactbaptists.org.au/authorised-sre-curriculum/
A parent/carer may at any time notify the school in writing that they wish to change their decision. Students will continue the same arrangement as the previous year, unless a parent/carer has requested a change in writing.
