Radio 2HD Broadcasts Live from Irrawang High

It was really great to welcome Richard King and his trusty offsi der Luke to Irrawang High today ( not forgetting Dave back in the studio) to broadcast their live breakfast show from 6-9am.Richard presented a balanced and positive view of Irrawang High with the assistance of many of our staff including Principal Mr Elliott and students Lachlan White, Stephanie Baker, Liam Thomas and Sophie Hunter. Mayor Bruce Mackenzie popped in to say hello and the Hon Peter Garrett AM, MP Minister for School Education, Early Childhood and Youth spoke to Richard specifically mentioning what a great job Irrawang High is doing......

"I've had a look at the newsletters and the National Partnership Plan, I think the school is doing fantastic things already with the money that they're receiving." said Mr Garrett". ".... great to see what's going on at Irrawang.  I think they're really kicking some goals there" he said.
