Lions Youth of the Year Competition

School Captain Brodie Daniels recently competed in the Lions Medowie Branch Youth of the Year Quest. In this prestigious competition held every year in Lions Clubs around Australia, competitors present a five minute speech on a subject of their choice. They also have to answer impromptu questions relating to current affairs issues.

Such a competition builds self confidence in speaking formally to an audience, and encourages building leadership skills.

Big congratulations to Brodie on winning the public speaking section, excelling in the presentation of his speech.
