The Lemon Car is coming to school on Monday November 9th!!
Year 10 PARENTS WELCOME!
The Lemon Car is a fun, interactive and informative awareness program which travels around to high schools in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland educating young drivers about the importance of proper vehicle safety and maintenance.
Our year 10 students will be shown how to spot commonly overlooked yet potentially dangerous defects on the actual car, some of which are often bought from re...putable auto shops. The aim of this course is to inform young drivers about vehicle safety, help them save money and hopefully reduce the number of fatalities caused by faulty and illegally modified vehicles.
We are inviting parents/carers of our Year 10 students to come along also as you will probably being with your child when purchasing their first car. We are holding 3 sessions commencing at 10.10am, with the final session 12.40pm - 1.40pm. Parents/carers are required to RSVP by this Friday to school on 49874687 to ensure there is space available.
