Ten students from Irrawang High entered a national English competition to write a story or poem of their choice in the Write4Fun , Write Track 2015 Competition. 12,000 students from kindergarten to high school from around Australia entered and had to write a poem (16 lines)  or a story (500 words).

Our students proceeded past the first round of entries and all received participation certificates. Year 9 student James Foster (pictured above), also received a certificate for "Excellence in Writing" for his short story, one of only 572 entries to receive this certificate throughout Australia.
