Question and Answer time..
When did you start/leave IHS?
I started in year 7 in 1993 and finished year 12 in 1998.
Who was Principal?
The Principal when I started High School was Mr Beaumont. He was replaced by Mr Elliott.
What great memories did you have from that time?
Mr Beaumont had a special assembly to mark his retirement/leaving the school. The whole school attended. He received a rock star/standing ovation welcome into the school hall. It was amazing.
Any special teachers you remember?
My English teacher for years 10-12 was Mrs Hall. She was very component and inspiring. She has some innovative ideas and had a passion for teaching.
Mr Sazdanoff was my legal studies teacher in year 11 and 12. There were 3 students who choose to do what was then known as 3 unit legal studies. Mr Sazdanoff was the most enthusiastic teacher that I ever had. He is the reason I choose to study law.
Were you involved in any sporting/CAPA/ other groups?
I was in the debating team and we did really well. I also played netball for the school.
Why did you decide to take up law?
My subject choice to do legal studies for my HSC, combined with such an enthusiastic teacher led me to pick law to study at University.
Thank you Kristy.
