Australian Lions Longest Coin Line

True to form, our Irawang High students and staff again showed their true spirit of generosity by contributing to the Lions Club of Raymond Terrace Longest Coin Line. Our school was very happy to participate in this event in which all money raised will go to the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation.

The line stretched across the quad area to the "money tree", and we reached our target right on bell time to the sound of very excited cheering from everyone who gathered to watch.

Lions hope to break the Guiness Book of Records for the longest coin line by converting all bigger coins to 5 cent pieces and laying them end to end at Glendale Sports track.
